The UFO Alarm Clock’s flyer is not powered. It gets its spin from the base unit itself, and as soon as this is spent, it falls to the floor. Hence you don’t need a stepladder to recover it from rooms with high ceilings.
UFO Alarm Clock’s digital display is powered by two lithium batteries (supplied), and its alarm functionality requires four AA batteries or a six-volt, 1.5-amp power supply (not supplied).
