How do I separate Action Replay’s code lines?

Options

When you hit ‘Done’ after inputting a line of 13 digits, the next line (full of zeros) will appear (this is quite normal) but if you hit done again (without selecting any other numbers/letter) the code will input correctly.  

NOTE: This isn`t an issue with the very latest version of Action Replay GameCube, which offers all the codes preinstalled and does not offer facilities for inputting your own.
